The honour celebrates NGEC’s relentless advocacy for equality across gender, age, and ability, and its commitment to ensuring that marginalized groups are heard and protected. Celebrated were three champions whose work reflects NGEC’s vision — Commissioner Carolyne Lentumpuru, Lotaruk Ekuam Nahashon (Isiolo), and Hamisi Dzole (Malindi) recognised for bridging voices from the margins to the centre of national development.
