Dr Joshua Gikonyo, Director of Science Innovation Africa, paid a courtesy call on the Commission Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the National Gender and Equality Commission.
Dr Gikonyo briefed the Commission on the organization's work in teacher capacity building, particularly initiatives that equip teachers with the digital skills and tools required in an increasingly technology-driven education system.
The discussions underlined that strengthening teachers’ digital capacity is a condition for advancing inclusive education, so that every learner has a genuine opportunity to benefit from digital transformation regardless of school, county or circumstance.
