The Commission Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the National Gender and Equality Commission paid a courtesy call on the Chief Executive Officer of the Council of Governors, Ms Mary Mwiti, EBS, for discussions on areas of mutual interest.
The meeting explored avenues for strengthening collaboration between the two institutions, particularly in advancing gender equality, inclusion and equitable development across Kenya’s 47 counties.
The two institutions discussed joint engagement and partnerships to support county governments in promoting inclusive governance, protecting the rights of all citizens and ensuring that no resident is left behind in county planning and service delivery.
