Youth Drive Kenya’s E-Mobility Future in Dynamic Nairobi Forum

The Youth and Children Division recently hosted a dynamic youth stakeholder meeting in Nairobi under the theme, "Innovate, Include, Inspire: Youth in Kenya's E-Mobility Commerce." The event aimed to ignite discussions on how young people can transform Kenya’s transport sector with sustainable, tech-driven e-mobility solutions. Bringing together students from leading institutions like the University of Nairobi, JKUAT, and Kenyatta University, the meeting provided a platform for thought leaders and innovators to explore the policy landscape, technological advancements, and youth-led innovations in the sector.

Financial opportunities and pathways for youth empowerment through entrepreneurship were also key focus areas. The meeting concluded with a call for youth to take the lead in driving inclusive, innovative, and sustainable change in Kenya's transport sector, underscoring the critical role of young people in building a greener and more equitable future.
