The role of the internal audit department is to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.  The section evaluates controls and advises managers at all levels, evaluates risks, analyses operations and reviews NGEC’s adherence to rules, regulations, laws, codes of practice, guidelines and principles as they apply individually and collectively to the Commission.
